- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity proposes to award to Government Scientifc Source, Inc., 12351 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA on a sole source basis, for the purchase of laboratory supplies for a SpectraMax M5 Multi-Purpose Plate Reader. This is for the continuation of a current ongoing research project. Competing this requirement and awarding to any other source would result in substantial delays and disruption of a project already in progress and would also increase the overal l cost to the Government. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W74MYF7214N035-036. This procurement shall be under other than full and open competition procedures in accordance with FAR 6.302. Only one responsible source and no o ther supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice is not a request for a competitive quote. Any response to this notice must be submitted in writing to the Government and show clear and convincing evidence that another source is cap able of meeting the Governments requirements and that competition of the requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no written responses are received at least fifteen (15) days after the publication of this response, the purchase will be awa rded without further notice. See Note 22.
