- The government intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to ParvoMedics, Inc., 8152 S 1715 E, Sandy, UT 84093-6852. This requirement is for (1) ParvoMedics TryeOne 2400 Metabolic Measuring System; (1) each 2-way non-rebreathing T-shape valve with saliva trap; (1) each Extended 4&5 Warranty of TrueOne Analyzer and software; and (1) each shipping and handling. The ParvoMedics Metabolic Measuring System is required for the measurement of respiratory and metabolic responses to progressive reduct ion in central blood volume in humans during Lower Body Negative Pressure (LBNP) experiments. Salient characteristics: provides the sensitivity required to obtain accurate measurements of minute ventilation volume at the low the flow rates observed in qui etly resting humans. The expected delivery date is by September 30, 2007. The U.S. Army Health Care Acquisition Activity (HCAA), Great Plains Regional Contracting Office (GPRCO), Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award the contract to provide the ParvoM edics Metabolic Measuring System and related components for the Institute of Surgical Research, Fort Sam Houston, TX. This is a sole source award. The GPRCO intends to solicit and negotiate only with ParvoMedics, Inc., 8152 S 1715 E, Sandy, UT 84093-6852 under the authority 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 339111. All quotes meeting the capability and specifications of this requirement that are received within 5 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.
