- This announcement is for the purpose of soliciting contractors interested in submitting an offer to provide one GE Healthcare LightSpeed VCT (LST VCT Cardiac Pro) and option for one additional unit to be exercised with 90 days of award. Each unit wi ll have various options that will be published in the request for proposal. The selected contractor will be required to provide onsite training in Cairo, Egypt for up to 10 days, technical manuals, and be responsible for installation of the units in desig nated hospitals. Transportation of the units will be via the Egyptain Freight Forwarder to Alexandria, Egypt. Receipt and further transportation to the designated hospital will be the selected contractors responsibility. CONTRACTING PROCEDURES: This a ward will be made a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. A Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) contracting method will be used to evaluate proposals. Any contractor interested in obtaining a contrac t award with the US Army Corps of Engineers must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database at www.ccr.gov. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will only be issued to vendors who have responded to this notice indicating interest in sub mitting a proposal.
