- SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS (Not a Notice of Solicitation) The Information Technology Branch (ASC/PKWIE), is conducting market research to determine potential sources to provide support for Air Force Materiel Command Capability Based Linking Tool Information Technology Professional Services. The contractor shall provide information technology requirements, development, implementation of document search and retrieval capabilities and sustainment of deployed capabilities. Please reference the attachment for a detailed description of the requirement. The Air Force anticipates utilizing the General Services Administration (GSA) contract vehicle for award. The Period of Performance for this effort is expected to be one year. Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract/order on the basis of this sources sought synopsis or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this synopsis as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, evaluation of proposals or source selection process and does not diminish the authority of the contracting officer.
