Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18 and DFARs Change Notice (DCN) 2007-08-02. Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3663 and the size standard is 750. NAICS is 334220. This acquisition is a 100% small business set aside. This acquisition is for Brand Name or equal items only. AFFTC/Edwards AFB CA is seeking to purchase an Applied Signal Technology - Model 635LW Wireless Surveillance System, 1 Ea., to provide facility to monitor Communication Intelligence with 20 ? 300 MHz Frequency Range with 4 Nanoceptors to support a wireless signal analysis lab. Salient Features for Model 635LW Wireless Surveillance System: 1 each Model 635LW Wireless Surveillance digital receiver/processor; Up to 32 Half-duplex, depending on signal type; Control Interface: Ethernet; RCS32 Receiver Control Suite software; Model: Nanoceptor; SI-8614; Up to 4 Receivers; Tuning range is 20-3000 MHz; Tuning Resolution is 100 Hz; IF Bandwidth: 4 x 25 MHz with four SI-8614s; Noise Figure: 12 dB Maximum; RF Input: 50 ohms nominal; AGC Range: 80 dB minimum; External 10 MHz reference Clock; Analog Output: Stereo audio 1/8 inch mini-jack; Removable Hard Disk: 50 GB; Interfaces: Ethernet (10/100BaseT), Two Ports, RS-232, USB, Parallel Printer port, PCMICIA Type III slot; Chassis size is 4.6?H x 11.6?W x 16?D; Basic System Configuration includes: Pelican case and accessories case for Model 635LW, Laptop computer, Mag-mount antenna, RF cables, Interconnect cables, Headphones, User manual, System software and media. Training and Support Package includes: One year maintenance includes on-site and telephone support; One two-day training course up to 10 students at Edwards AFB CA location; Software upgrades for 12 months; Two on-site visits in 12 months for installation of software upgrades, maintenance, or field changes. The Nanoceptors are manufactured by DRS Signal Solutions. Applied Signal Technology, Inc Model 635LW combines four Nanoceptors into an integrated system with enhanced software to control the Nanoceptors. The model 635LW?s internal nanoceptors are used to tune to, downconvert, collect and analyze conventional push-to-talk and other AM, FM, and SSB radios. The accompanying RCS32 Receiver Control Suite software allows the user to individually control the Nanoceptors inside the 635LW. This software runs on the host laptop computer which is included in this purchase. The software applications allow control, monitoring, and a collection of data for a single or multiple Nanoceptors. The specific functions included are perform real-time control of a single or multiple receiver, display RF spectral data from receiver sweep or step modes, collect multiple channels of intercepted audio data on a PC as WAVe files, play back and analyzed collected audio data, and generate signal frequency lists.
