- Request for Information The Air Force Research Laboratory Propulsion Directorate West at Edwards AFB, CA is conducting market research for the continuation of the following on-site Operation and Maintenance services: 1. Information System and Telecommunications Support for current and future computer resources support. This may include help desk support, network support, infrastructure maintenance and installation support, hardware systems support, scientific systems support, database systems support, management information systems and application development support. 2. Information Technology Program Management Support to include asset management and tracking support, communication systems support, information assurance support and enterprise configuration management. 3. Personnel System Support to include manpower and training office administrative support. 4. Information Management Support to include supporting the Department of Defense Scientific and Technical Information Program (STIP), Scientific and Technical Information Review (STINFO), Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR), Small Business Technology Transfer Research (STTR), and technical library support. 5. Logistical Support to include Logistical Material Control Activity shipping depot and receiving & technical order processing. 6. Financial Management Support for the financial management branch and the technical branches in processing funding documents, performing financial analysis and managing automated financial management systems. 7. Graphical Support to include maintaining a graphic arts department for conceptualization, design, layout, generation and production of various graphical presentation products. Please note that this is a Sources Sought Synopsis for market research and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation for competitive bids/proposals and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. All interested parties who believe that they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing the complete information describing their capability and qualifications to provide the aforementioned support services. Please include your company name, point of contact, address, telephone number, Duns & Bradstreet Unique Numbering System (DUNS) number, Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. Additionally, please provide a general description of your company with proven ability to meet the requirements and a description of historical or current similarly held contracts. Information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete the effort on a full and open basis based on the responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis.
