- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement FA4861-07-Q-B008, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-09. The NAICS for this solicitation is 332999. The size standard for a small business under this NAICS code is 500 employees. This is a small business set-aside. This is a commercial request for a volumetric Calibration Trailer 500 Galleon series ?J? Bottom Drain Prover and Trailer. Power built to N.I.S.T Handbook 105-3 Standards, OIML R-130 and API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards Chapter 4. 500 Gallon capacity calibrated to deliver at 60 degrees F. Type 304 Stainless Steel with reinforcing bands to prevent distortion of prover when full with liquid and being transported. Three stainless steel thermometer wells, two spirit levels, aluminum graduated scale, scale graduations in cubic inches, engraved brass data plate, stainless steel gauge glass fitting, hinged locking cover for top of neck and gauge glass, two lifting loops attached two lifting loops attached to top band of prover, top filling submerged fill to reduce foaming during filling, three non adjustable bolt down legs 2 ?? ANPT female by 2 ? bayonet flange. Bottom Fill pipe equipped with Dry Break Valve for aviation fueling applications. Trailer, heavy duty construction with 4?X2?X3/16? wall, steel rectangular tubing, dual axle rating of 7000 GVW, Deck size 60?
