- Description
- The VA Network 22 Logistic Office intends to negotiate a sole source procurement in accordance with Far Part 13 with Insight Instruments under authority of Far 6.302-1. This procurement is for a SDI equipment system. The device is compatible to the Zeiss microscope system that the VA currently owns. This item functions are an attachment to the microscope to provide a high magnification and resolution non-contract image of the macula lens and a wider angle view than standard contact lens. It also saves time without the need of sewing on a lens ring and helps reduce corneal abrasion. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements by submitting their request in writing with complete name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and a point of contact. The Government will consider all quotes received by 12:00 PM, September 10, 2007. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
