- Scope of Work The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, and transportation required to remove and replace twelve (12) doors at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center, 3701 Loop Road East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404. All work shall be performed in accordance with the statement of work and specifications provided in this solicitation. This solicitation is issued as a commercial item in accordance with FAR Part 12 and shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR Part 13. Work is to be performed in building 63, first floor. This solicitation is a 100% set aside for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) in accordance with Public Law 109-461, December 22, 2006. Contractors are advised that registration in http://www.vetbiz and http://www.ccr.gov is mandatory before award of contract. Contractor shall be qualified and licensed in this NAICS field. Contractors shall submit licensing and job qualifications with bid for approval. The winning bid will be selected based on best value. The winning bid will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. Bids are due on September 7, NLT 4: PM EST. Bidders are encouraged to do a site visit if they need more information. Site can be visited Monday through Friday from 7:00AM to 3:30 PM.
