- This is a requirement for orthopedic surgery services for beneficiaries of the VAMC Atlanta, located at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA 30033. Offerors will be required to provide pre-operative, operative and post operative orthopedic surgery, patient evaluation, testing and other diagnostic services as required to meet established standards of care. This includes medical clearance/consultations to ensure medical fitness for surgery and post-operative visits for 90 days, including x-rays, post-operative complication, allowable rehabilitation, and medical devices to provide the patient with mobility as defined by the community standards of care. Bidders are expected to serve as the central agency for correlating all services and billing for services and invoicing the VAMC for referred patients. The VAMC intends to use applicable Medicare rates for services and for bidders to agree to be reimbursed based on CPT/DRG codes for preoperative, operative, and post operative Orthopedic Surgery care and patient evaluation, testing, and other diagnostic services as required for outpatient and inpatient care. The anticipated period of performance is base plus four years. The government anticipates multiple awards. This is an open solicitation but small business consideration will be given to bidders able to meet requirements of the solicitation. NAICS code is 622110, $31.5M.
