- Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Office of Transportation Sector Network Management ? Highway and Motor Carrier Division (TSNM/HMCD) has awarded a single source modification on contract HSTS02-05-C-HMC163 with General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems for continued operation and development of the HAZMAT Truck Security Pilot (HTSP) Truck Tracking Center under the current Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF) contract. This extension was necessary to allow TSA to receive maximum benefit from its initial contractual investment. The Single Source Modification extends the current contract until January 31, 2008 at a cost of $1,408,606.00. It was determined that General Dynamics was the only source that could meet the current Government requirements, both in terms of cost and schedule. After January 31, 2008, any requirements for Truck Tracking from the TSA TSNM/HMCD division will be competed.
