- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) intends to enter a contract with Innovative Response Technologies, Inc., Fairmont, WV for 2 each of their X-Bot Vehicle Platform System. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Any firm that believes it can meet the requirements of this Notice must provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by 31 August 2007. A firm submitting information should provide supporting evidence in sufficient detail to demonstrate the capability of the firm/product to provide the product identified above. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer at: richard.travis@dhs.gov. No telephone submission of information will be accepted. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred in the preparation of responses to this announcement. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the Sole Source contract.
