- The United States Government presently occupies office and related space in two buildings at 900 Commerce Road East and 850 S. Clearview Parkway, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana under a lease that expires at the end of March 2008. The DOE SPR is interested in considering alternatives for office and related space if relocation is economically advantageous to the Government. The space should consist of approximately 102, 822 net usable square feet of general office, special purpose and support space, together with approximately 392 reserved off street parking spaces, including 31 for Government-owned vehicles. Additional requirements may include secured access and after-hours access. Lease Term: Initial 5 year term with three 5-year options. Expressions of Interest should include the following: 1. Building Name and Address 2. Square footage offered (rentable and usable) 3. Method of measurement used to determine square feet 4. Identify any Tenant Improvement Allowances 5. Identify any additional Incentives 6. Name, address, phone number and email of contact person 7. Evidence of authority to represent owner Delineated Area of Consideration: Elmwood Industrial Park Area The Government intends to use this information to determine the feasibility of relocating this office. Alternative space will only be considered if it is economically advantageous, and in the best interest of the Government. In making such a determination, DOE SPR will consider cost factors including, but not limited to, the total relocation cost (including telecommunications and computer costs), tenant improvement costs, and anticipated rent for the space. No award of a contract will be made based solely upon information received in response to this notice.
