- The Bureau of the Census is issuing this notice as a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation 51-SO-BC-7-00040 is issued as a Request For Quote. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-18 dated 05-July-2007. CLIN001 No. 1 fuel oil (kerosene). Minimum quantity 7,500 gallons, maximum quantity 9,000 gallons. CLIN002 No.2 fuel oil Minimum quantity 60,000 gallons, maximum quantity 80,000 gallons. To be responsive to this Request for Quote, offeror shall provide their margin above the dock/rack price for the product. Margin shall include all shipping, handling, administrative, and all other costs and profits associated with the final charge per gallon. Actual pricing shall be based on the Dock/Rack Price the day of delivery, which shall be verifiable by the Government, plus the offeror's margin. Delivery is FOB destination to the Bureau of the Census, 1201 East 10th Street, Jeffersonville, IN 47132, Attn: Bldg. 62. Delivery will be to an 80,000 gallon above ground storage tank. Acceptance at same location. This is an indefinite-quantity contract for supplies and is in effect until 31-Dec-2007. The quantities of supplies in the schedule are estimates only. The Government shall order at least the quantity of supplies designated in the schedule as the minimum. Delivery of the balance will be on an as needed basis with the Government giving one-week notice of delivery. The following provisions and clauses apply to this RFQ. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, 52.212-2, Evalutions-Commerical Items, 52-212-3, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, 52.216-22, Indefinite Quantity, 52-216-2, and Economic Price Adjustment Standard Supplies, 52-211-6. Be sure to include all shipping and handling, margins or any other charges to the delivery location. Bids are due by 5:00PM on 07-Sep-2007. Prior to award, the apparent low bidder must be actively registered at CCR.gov and have on file or submit a Census vender registration form.
