- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to negotiate solely with Siemens Building Technologies, 2520 Lord Baltimore Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21244 under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1) as the contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. Siemens Building Technologies shall provide all labor, engineering, programming, supervision and testing necessary to add a bio-hazard protection system to the existing Apogee Building Automation System located in SSA's National Computer Center. Siemens Building Technologies has proprietary authority over the Apogee Building Automation System. The NAICS code is 238220. Other organizations possessing the requisite expertise and resources are invited to submit information concerning their capabilities, experience, and other pertinent data. Pricing data may be submitted. This is not a request for quotation and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation of information received. If SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing the service, SSA shall issue a purchase order to Siemens Building Technologies.
