Description
AMENDMENT NO. 03 - THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO PROVIDE RESPONSES TO QUESTIONS SUBMITTED BY OFFERORS. 1. Question: Do you have a list of interested vendors for this solicitation that you could provide to me? Response: Please refer to www.fbo.gov there is an Interested Vendors List (IVL) active for this procurement. 2. Question: I am interested in learning, is there an incumbent contractor for this requirement? Or is this a new requirement that the NRC is looking to procure? Response: There is not an incumbent contractor for this requirement. Yes, this is a new requirement that NRC is procuring. 3. Question: Can the NRC provide the terminal course objective? Would the following objective be accurate? "Upon completion of the course the student will be able to: articulate the design basis purpose of each major system comprising a (reactor type here) reactor, and state the regulatory documents that provide the criteria for validating that the system design meets that purpose." Response: The above state of objective is incomplete. A more complete statement can be developed from section 3.1 of the statement of objectives. The statement that was provided (above) is clearly missing section 3.1 (v) and (vi) and appears to cover part of section 3.1 (i) and (ii). 4. Question: This email is to request an extension to respond to your solicitation for New Reactor training - AP1000 to September 21, 2007. Response: The close date for this combined synopsis solicitation is extended to September 10, 2007 by 12;00 p.m. (local time) for electronic copies to mxw4@nrc.gov; and hard copies must be submitted no later than September 11, 2007 by 1:00 p.m. ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS REMAIN UNCHANGED
