Description
NASA/GSFC has a requirement for Reactor Plasma Vacuum System. The plasma process system (Plasma Cleaner) will be provided as a complete turn-key operational tool. Including mechanical pump with oil and system manual for operation and maintenance. Descripton and specifications are listed below. 1. General Description: -Complete package ready for operation -Chamber internally mounted in the cabinet -Cabinet dimensions: 22-inches wide x 27-inches deep by 36-inches high -Mechanical pump is located external to the main system 2. Chamber: -Aluminum box design configuration -Grade 6061-T6 aluminum plate -Dimensions: Interior 14-inches x 14-inches x 14-inches high -Full opening door with view port -One (1) 4-inch diameter view port in the door -Planar parallel plate configuration -Shelf guides are hard/clear anodized -Interior shelves (4), 2- Hot, 2-Ground 3. Safety Interlocks: -Safety interlocks for door, vacuum and RF power -Interlocks protect the operator and the system from accidental operation 4. System Control: -Siemens Industrial model S7-200 system control package. -Auto / Manual control of system operation. -PLC based for ease of operation. -"Touch-Panel" control screen -Digital display for power, vacuum pressure, gas flow and time -Password protected controller 5. Power Source, RF Generator: -Basic power requirement 120 VAC, 20 Amp, 50/60 Hz. service -Seren - 600-watt 13.56 MHz, RF generator -Automatic RF Tuning network for RF load impedance matching 6. Pumping System: -Mechanical Roughing Pump ?V 23.3 CFM -Dual Stage direct drive rotary vane pump -Oil Mist Filter included -Vacuum Exhaust line 1.500?? ID -Power, 115V, 20 Amp, 1-Ph. 50/60 Hz. 7. Valves: -Chamber roughing valve, stainless steel ?V KF-40 flanges, pneumatic actuation -Mass Flow Controller, one (1), 500 SCCM, calibrated for N2 -Selectable gas correction via programmable software 8. Training: -On-site (customers facility) training and installation shall be performed by Kyle Huth at the NASA facility NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Anatech USA because of the unique specifications needed. The most critical specification is the 14"x14" process chamber size with a table top housing that fits in our existing clean room. In additon, process development and support provided at no additional cost to NASA by a certified technician already working in support. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. The authority is FAR 13.106(b)(1) only one source reasonably available. This procurement will be processed using the procedures as set forth in the FAR part 13 Simplified Acquisitions. DO Rating is DO-C9. This synopsis shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort by e-mail to Janicea.L.McCree@nasa.gov. In writing, fax or mail to NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center, 8800 Greenbelt Road, Attn: Janicea McCree, Code 210.M, Building 11/S209, Greenbelt, Maryland 20771 no later than 4:30 p.m. eastern standard local time on September 8, 2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
