- GENERAL. In support of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) remodeling project, the FAA is requesting procurement of equipment and installation to support the Audio/Visual Requirements in each of 21 separate rooms. SCOPE OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED (Various Rooms ). This is a Performance-Based Fixed Price Contract. The Contractor shall provide and install audio/visual equipment in various rooms as identified. Rooms shall mimic conference rooms located in the FAA Regional Office to include the 1st Floor Conference Room and the 5th Floor Executive Conference Room. These rooms will be available for viewing during the Contractor walk-thru. The walk through is plan for Aug 29, 2007. Drawings are available. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Date of Award to 16 November 2007. WARRANTY: Provide a 1-year minimum product warranty and system assurance warranty for this cabling system covering hardware and labor to replace any product. BICSI certification is required. A minimal amount of high voltage electrical work is required. Building Permits will be required. Contractor must be located within 50 miles of Renton Washington. We anticipate issuing the RFP in GSA FTSs IT-Solutions Shop on Aug 24, 2007, with a closing date of 12:00 pm on Sep 7, 2007 All interested parties must be registered in IT-Solutions prior to Sep 7, 2007 in order to submit a proposal for this RFP.
