Description
The purpose of this Amendment is to provide clarification to EEOC?s response to Question No. 2, under the Responses to Questions relative to Combined Synopsis Solicitation No. RFQ-07-0152, Consulting Services: National Contact Center Migration Functional Requirements Analysis, Cost Estimates and Implementation Plan. The response to all questions received, including Question No. 2, was posted on August 22, 2007, as an amendment to the solicitation, at this website. The following clarification to Question No. 2 is being provided: QUESTION #2. Please clarify the statement. The contractor shall provide technical and functional solutions to facilitate implementation of the in-house operation at the 15 recommended locations. Does the contractor need to be an actual provider or implementer of solutions (e.g., systems integrator with software and hardware) or can it be one who defines the requirements for EEOC to procure these solutions from another vendor or simply transfer existing software and hardware and manage the overall process? If you require a systems integrator or hardware/software provider are you open to a teaming arrangement for the contractor to provide these services? RESPONSE: Yes. The contractor can be either an actual provider or implementer of solutions (e.g., systems integrator with software and hardware) or one who defines the requirements for EEOC to procure these solutions from another vendor or transfer existing software and hardware and manage the overall process under CLINs 0001 thru 0003. However, the deliverable for CLIN 0004 requires that there be an actual provider or implementer of solutions. Yes. Teaming arrangements are acceptable to provide the required services. The response due date and time remain at August 24, 2007, 12:00, Noon (Washington, DC Local Time)
