Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The USEPA intends on purchasing, brand name or equal, manufactured by Interlynx Group LLC, Biological Biophysical Engineering (BBE) Moldaenke Series, Cincinnati OH, the following items: (1) P/N BG32000-E, FluoroProbe 2, 1 each (2) P/N BGE30055-E, Fluoroprobe: Transmission sensor, 1 each (3) P/N BGE30055-E, Fluoroprobe: Transmission sensor, 1 each (4) P/N BBEFL300M, 300 Meter certification for BBE Fluoroprobe 2, 1 each (5) P/N F30139-E, Fluoroprobe flow-through unit, 1 each (6) P/N BBEFLY2W, Fluoroprobe second year warrenty and factory recalibration at end of year 2 (6) P/N DEL-FL, Delivery Flouorometer continental US & Canada. The multi-spectral, in situ fluorometer must meet certain requirements. (1) To differentiate algal classes, the fluorometer must: a. emit light at six or more selected excitation wavelengths ? at a minimum: 370nm, 450nm, 525nm, 570nm, 590nm and 610nm, b. have narrow band pass filters to allow detection of specific emission wavelengths. (2) Be self-correcting for strength of the led light sources. (3) Be submersible up to 300m depth. (4) Have the capability of being either real-time, with data sent back to a computer during deployment or stand-alone, with data uploaded to a computer at the end of a sampling period. (5) The multi-spectral, in situ fluorometer must include, as part of the operating package, the software necessary to run the instrument and to discern the quantities of the algal groups based on the data provided by the fluorometer. (6) The fluorometer should include a transmissometer to correct for the quantity of suspended particles in the water. (7) The fluorometer should include a temperature sensor. Any vendor believing itself capable of meeting the brand name or equal may submit such documentation to the point of contact within ten (10) business days after the posting of this notice. Delivery must be made within 30 days or less after receipt of order (ARO). CCR Requirement - Company must be registered on Central Contractor Registration (CCR) before an award could be made to them.
