- Description
- The Fleet Readiness Center East, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for 1 each Model 130B-24 gage block comparator to include initial set-up/calibration and accessories. The government intends to procure this gage block comparator and accessories on a sole source basis from Mahr Federal Inc, 1144 Eddy Street, Providence, RI, cage code 21938 because this equipment is a replacement for an existing gage block comparator which has been damaged beyond repair. The existing gage block comparator must work with other gage block comparators (Model 130B-16) that the FRC East currently has and the new one must be compatible with the others. Procuring the same gage block comparator will also avoid additional maintenance costs. Delivery shall be made to: Fleet Readiness Center East, Receiving Officer, Cherry Point, NC. See numbered note 22.
