- The Naval Research Laboratory intends to award to Quantum Corporation on other than full and open competitive basis a contract for the following equipment: 1 each Scalar I2000 (INCL 700 SLOTS) Silver service level 5 x 9 x 4 HR, P/N 7-00084-91, Model # SSC2K-RS07-SL11; 1 each Silver service level 5 x 9 x 4 HR, P/N 7-00084-73, Model # SSCBB-RS01-SL11; 1 each LTO2 and LTO3 FC Drive Maintenance Silver Service Level 5 x 9 x 4 HR, P/N 7-00087-49, Model # SLBBN-RTDX-S11; 1 each Silver Service Level 5 x 9 x 4 HR, P/N 7-00084-73, Model # SSCBB-RS01-SL11; 1 each LTO4 FC Drives Silver Support Level 5 x 9 x 4 HR, P/N 7-00087-49, Model # SLBBN-RTDX-S11. Additional specifications will appear in the RFQ. Sole source is based on proprietary Quantum Corporation. Vendors who feel that they can provide the above equipment shall fully identify their interest and submit their capabilities to meet the above requirements within 15 days after the publication of this synopsis.
