- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Newport intends to award a firm fixed price order under FAR part 13 procedures. This acquisition is intended as a sole source to TEK Microsystems, Inc., 2 Elizabeth Dr., Chelmsford, MA 01824. The contractor will be required to develop and deliver firmware and software source code for Tarvos and Callisto VXS cards intended for developing an RF system to be implemented on Tek Microsystems VXS hardware platforms. TEK Microsystems is the only known manufacturer that currently produces a system using the next generation Linear Technologies analog to digital converter with the technical characteristics that will interface with existing laboratory equipment for an affordable price. This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
