Description

The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to award a contract on a non-competitive basis for the purchase, delivery and installation of BD Pathway 855 Bioimager System with software and accessories. The anticipated award w ill be made under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, to Bioscience, 15010 Broschart Road, Rockville, MD 20850. Specifically, FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), states, Unique supplies or services available from only on e source or only one supplier with unique capabilities The United States Army Medical Institute for Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) needs one (1) BD Pathway 855 Bioimager System with its accompanying software and accessories, including installation. This system is specifically needed for its ability to image l ive cells and its capacity to have 96 well reagent plates. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
