- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This announcement is a request for information only. The Department of Veterans' Affairs, James A. Haley Veterans' Hospital (JAHVH) Office of Acquisition and Material Management Services located in Tampa, FL is conducting market research for the procurement of a Cryo-ablation System for use in the Electro Physiology Laboratory in the Cardiology Section. This system allows electro-physiologist's to treat arrhythmias with cold rather than heat. Cryo-therapy is a sophisticated alternative to current heat based therapies. Information gathered will assist in formulating a solicitation and will help identify any additional interested offerors currently not on the bidder's mailing list. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notification or otherwise pay for any information received in response to this request. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the sources sought. Again, this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received by 10:00 a.m. EST, 27 August 2007, will be reviewed by the Government. NAICS 334510 with a size standard of 500 employees.
