Description

The Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), Contracting Division, Hardware/Software Section (DITCO/PL8322), 2300 East Drive, Scott AFB IL 62225-5406, intends to issue a sole source contract to NCR/Teradata Government Systems Corporation, 20370 Seneca Meadows Parkway, Germantown MD, for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only notice. This acquisition, for USTRANSCOM, is the procurement of Teradata (Model 5500H 4 Node) Database Server as an integral component to a secondary GTN P3I development suite of hardware. The entire hardware suite must mirror GTN P3I?s existing Development, Test, Pre-Production and Production environments. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by submitting clear evidence of their capability to provide/perform. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses must be received within 15 days of publication of this synopsis to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
