- The Combatant Craft Department (CCD) of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD), is the In-Service Engineering Agent for the Patrol Coastal Ship Class providing technical support in the repair and inspection of the "Carderock Design" propellers. The CCD currently has a requirement for services to repair four (4) Patrol Coastal Class propellers which NSWCCD intends to negotiate a non-competitive procurement with Wildcat Propeller, Chesapeake, Va 23323. Wildcat Propeller provides a unique capability with the use of Prop Scan computer aided measuring equipment. Wildcat Propeller is the only repair facility with a digital database of the propeller geometry in the prop Scan format for affecting the repairs. All responsible sources submitting offers will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may forward their capabilities statements to the Government POC on or before 09/06/2007 and referencing RFQ N00167-07-Q-5276.
