Description: The Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) is pursuing the acquisition of a borehole video camera to support site investigations in the Western United States on active and abandoned coal minng projects. The camera will be used to: 1. Evaluate the integrity of aging wells 2. Idenfity the characteristics of underground mine voids 3. Identify areas of bio-fouling 4. Identify the presence of gas bubbles 5. Identify lithologic changes in open wells and mine voids 6. Identify fractrures in open wells and mine voids 7.
