- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6- STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS-AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED, A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT CAN BE REQUESTED BY CONTACTING THE POC VIA EMAIL AS LISTED BELOW. Solicitation W912LQ-07-R-0002 will be issued as a Reque st For Quote (RFQ). This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) using acquisition of commercial items procedures found in FAR Part 12. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-18. Provisions and clauses may be downloaded at http://www.farsite.hill.af.mil. It is the responsibility of the offeror to be familiar with all applicable clauses and provisions. *** The associated North American Industrial Classific ation System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 722310 with a small business size standard of $17.5 million annually. This RFQ is set-aside for Small Business Concerns. This acquisition is to be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Statement of work: The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision and services necessary to conduct full food operations at the Virginia Army National Guard dining facility located at Fort Pickett, Blackstone, VA. This facility is dedicated to provi ding full meal service and meeting the nutritional needs of the Defense (DoD) personnel who frequent the facility. The period of performance will be for a one year base period with four (4) one-year option periods. The government reserves the unilateral right to exercise any option periods. Questions resulting from this statement of work are to be submitted using the attached Request for Information form. No other correspondence will be honored.
