- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Parts 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCB has a requirement for Turbomolecular pump systems (parts include Varian guage tube, TC, 536, NW25KF (16 each) p/n L6141309, Varian Thermocouple gauge control (16 each) p/n F2739301, Varian centering ring, KF40(16 each) p/n KC40sv, Varian compression port adapters, KF25 to ??? (16 each) p/n KCP250750, Varian clamp, KF40 (16 each) p/n KQ40AWP, Varian tee, KF25 (16 each) p/n KT01000197, Varian conical reducer, KF40 to KF25 (16 each) p/n KRC2540s, Varian centering ring, KF25 (48 each) p/n KC25SV, Varian clamp, KF25 (48 each) p/n KQ25AWP, Varian flex couplings, KF25 (16 each) p/n KLB01004800, Varian blank off flange, KF25 (32 each) p/n KF250000SB and a Varian pump, turbo mini task (16 each) p/n 9699170. This is a ?brand name? requirement (Varian Inc.) in which no ?or equal? can be used. Requested delivery date is approx 30 days after receipt of an award to Patrick AFB, FL. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-07-T-0307 is issued as a Request for Proposal. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 3563, business size of small and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333911. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 27 August 2007 at www.fbo.gov.
