- The National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), intends to procure a 5-Position Deck Mosquito For Crystallography from TTP LabTech Ltd: Royston, United Kingdom SG8 6EE. The Institute intends to procure this system by other than full and open competition under the authority of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code 334516 with a size standard of 500. This is not a seta aside for small business. The requirements necessary are : (P/N 3019-0004) 5-Position Deck Mosquito for crystallography 1 pipeette loader, power cable, calibration block 1 plate-seal holder, 1 guide block, 1 spool 4150-030xx non-sterile pipettes, 1 pack 5ul micro-reservoir strips, 1 pack 2ul micro-reservoir strips, 1 pack ViewDrop plate-seals 4-position ultra low reagent holder Mosquito software licence & comms installed in PC controller TTP LabTech is the only known vendor that can provide the 5-Position Deck Mosquito system that meet the above requirements. This is not a solicitation for competitive proposals. However, if any other interested party believes that it can meet the requirements it may submit a statement of capabilities. The capability statement and any other information furnished must be in writing and must contain material in sufficient details to allow NIDDK to determine if the party can meet all of the foregoing requirements. Offers must also be accompanied by descriptive literature, warranties and/or other information that demonstrates that the offer meets all of the foregoing requirements. An original and one copy of the capability statements and related materials must be received in this office by 5:00p.m. EST on or before September 7, 2007. Faxed and emailed capability statements are NOT authorized. All questions must be in writing and may be emailed to Tina Robinson @ robinsti@mail.nih.gov or faxed (301) 480-4226. It is the vendor?s responsibility to call 301-402-8778 and verify that questions were received. A determination to compete or not compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In order to receive an award from the NIDDK, contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) www.ccr.gov.
