- Description
- Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Sierra Nevada Region (SNR), located in Folsom, CA, has a requirement to control vegetation around transmission towers and along transmission right-of-way (ROW). The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinate Delivery Indefinate Qanitity (IDIQ) Perfomance-based Integrated Vegetation Management, multiple award to up to three Contractors, for a base year and one(1) option year. The North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 561730 with a size standard of $6.5 million. This IDIQ requirement is anticipated to be awared as 1 full and open and up to two small business set-a-sides. Contractors must be licensed by the State of California, must have a Safety Plan approved by SNR's Safety Office before award can be made, and must be registered in Central Contractor's Registration [(CCR) www.ccr.gov]. If offerors are not currently registered in the Online Representations and Certification Application (ORCA), the representations and certifications in the solicitation must be completed and returned with the proposal. The Service Contract Act, FAR 52.222-41 applies to this requirement. Employers must comply with the current Department of Labor Wage Determination 1977-0727, Rev 33, dated 05/29/2007. A pre-preposal conference is sheduled for September 7, 2007 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. PST at Western Area Power Administration, 114 Parkshore Drive, Folsom, CA 95630.
