- This Synopsis is Amended to provide the following corrections/clarifications: Solicitation Number is WC133F-07-RB-0027MLW. Response date should have been August 21, 2007. The Solicitation Issuance date is August 23, 2007; The Bid Opening Date is September 7, 2007. The U. S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, intends to procure construction services for Restroom Repairs and Renovations for the Southeast Fisheries Science Center, National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), at Miami, Florida. The Contractor shall be required to furnish all labor, material, equipment and all items to complete this improvement. The work involves all of the restroom facilities in a three floor building, which has two restrooms per floor, and involves installing an additional restroom on the first floor. The work generally includes the repairs and revisions to the restroom facilities, including making dimensional and entryway changes to the restroom facilities in order to comply with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act. The work also involves installing proper exhaust systems for all restrooms. All work shall be performed in accordance with specifications and plans. The period of performance shall be 120 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. This will be a firm-fixed price contract. This is a total small-business set aside. NAICS code 236220 applies. Estimated construction cost is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Solicitation Number WC133F-07-RB-0027MLW with specifications and bid documents will be available on or about August 21, 2007. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The Central Region Acquisition Division requires that all contractors doing business with this Acquisitions Office must be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in CCR.
