Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division is planning to procure an Ultra-High Speed CCD Camera System on a full and open competition basis using FAR 13.5 Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. Specifications for the camera are as follows: Minimum Resolution of 1000x1000 pixels per frame, 10 bit CCD sensor resolution, maximum frame rate of 200,000,000 frames per second, 5 nanoseconds minimum exposure time per frame, individually programmed time between frames, individually programmed frame time, 16 frames of pictures, TTL trigger, light distribution across each frame is uniform without software correction, no parallax - all frames look down a common axis, no sectioning of image forming light beam - all frames given an even portion of the total beam, operates with optical input options including standard 6 x 7 cm or 35 mm objective lenses, C mount lenses or microscope input, viewing and focus of camera done using same gain and exposure setting as on dynamic sequence, allows checking of record quality with intended settings prior to test event - particularly valuable where tests are costly, image signal output trigger signal - output from each camera - plus clock signal output for system available at rear panel BNC connectors for system testing, timing sequencer for trigger times and exposure duration for each frame plus 8 spare channels of time delay with 400 MHz 10 parts per million accuracy clock for use in synchronization with external instrumentation, modular construction of electronics allowing easy replacement of electronic modules for rapid servicing, two high intensity triggered Xenon Flash Tube Light sources must be supplied with the camera, Energy Content (800V)-1200 Joules, Flash Intensity Control - 400V to 800V in four steps, 2 flash heads per light source, the supplied camera lens system must be equivalent to the Infinity K2/S Long Distance Video Lens with single port and the objectives listed below: K2 OBJECTIVE OPTIONS (MAIN BODY REQUIRED) Objective CF-1 with a Primary Magnification of 2.3 - 0.9X, a Magnification (1/2" CCD, 13" Monitor) of 95 ? 37X, Field of View (1/2" CCD Horiz) 2.8 - 7.0mm, Working Distance of 272 - 660mm and a Size (Dia. x L) of 58mm x 65mm. Objective CF-4 with a Primary Magnification of 10.7 - 8.0X, a Magnification (1/2" CCD, 13" Monitor) of 442 - 330X, Field of View (1/2" CCD Horiz) 0.6 - 0.8mm, Working Distance of 52 - 63mm and a Size (Dia. x L) of 48mm x 52mm.
