- Description
- The U.S. Army Medical Command (MEDCOM), Center for Health Care Contracting (CHCC) intends to issue a solicitation for non-personal services to provide professional diagnostic radiological interpretations and reports by, at a minimum, a board certifie d radiologist, for designated Army Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) within the continental United States. The services shall be performed by using secure broadband connections to transmit radiology images and data between the MTFs and the contractors facility. The contractor will perform interpretation of images and provide exam reports, which will be electronically furnished by the contractor to the MTFs Composite Health Care System (CHCS) Information System. Radiologists providing services must be either a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy who has successfully completed an approved residency program in radiology and is board certified in radiology. The radiologist must be certified by the American Board of Radiology, American Osteopathic Board of Ra diology, or equivalent, in Diagnostic Radiology. In addition, must have a current unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State comprising the United States of America, the District of Columbia, or any territory of the United States where the ima ges are read. The solicitation will be released on or about 28 August 2007. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be made available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently f or any updates/amendments to any and all documents. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on the solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code. The solicitation will be for award of a Blanket Purchase Agreem ent (BPA), NOT A CONTRACT. The period of performance will begin 1 October 2007. Numbered notes 1 applies to this posting.
