- The U.S. Army Joint Munitions & Lethality Life Cycle Management Command, Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000, has a requirement for a quantity of 140 Special Operations Forces Demolition Kit (SDK) Tool Chests. Potential offeror???s shall have the capability to procure, fabricate, assemble, inspect, and deliver the SDK Tool Chest in accordance with statement of work, the Army???s Engineering drawings and Special Packaging Instructions (SPI). The SDK Tool Chest will be a wooden box with metal reinforced edges. The dimensions of the box will be: 40??? x 17??? x 15.75??? and cannot excced 65lbs each. Each box will have two handles on the front and two handles on the back of the box. The box will be lined with cardboard spacers located in the bottom and side of the box and separated by compartments. The box, when closed, will be secured by 3 latches. A laminate label kit packing guide will be attached to the cover of each box. This solicitation is restricted to qualified/registered Small Businesses. Award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of this solicitation is anticipated. The competitive Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be available electronically at the following internet address: http://procnet.pica.army.mil on or about fifteen (15) days from the date of this announcement. NOTE: Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database by accessing the CCR web site at http://www.ccr.gov in order to be eligible for contract award. Proposals will be required within thirty (30) days of the date of release of the RFQ.
