- Description
- The United States Air Force Academy, CO is currently seeking potential sources for a proposed Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide a service that includes collection and destruction of classified materials. The Government intends to use NAICS 561990, All Other Support Services. The proposed BPA would be awarded to more than one contractor. Estimated period of performance would be a base period plus four one-year option periods. The contractor shall pick-up and destroy the classified materials from established pick-up points. Upon picking up the classified materials the contractor shall provide a receipt to the Quality Assurance Personnel (QAP) which shall describe the materials being picked up, i.e. maps, boxes, loose paper, etc., estimated weight of classified materials pick up, name, telephone number, date and signature of person picking up classified materials. The contractor shall proceed to deliver the classified materials to the destruction site. Once the classified materials have been destroyed the contractor shall provide a ?Certificate of Destruction? to the QAP. Interested and qualified sources, with the proper equipment to perform this requirement, should provide the following information no later than 23 July 2007 1) Company name, address, CAGE Code and DUNS Number. 2) Point of contact telephone number and e-mail address. 3) Type of business, i.e. large business, small business, 8(a), HUBZONE, SDVOSB and etc. under which NAICS code. No solicitation is being issued at this time and this notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a BPA, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach.
