- VISN 15 has a requirement for a Reagent purchase agreement of one Test System for our facility in Kansas City, MO. State-of-the-art instrument that automates testing in the following categories: " ANA " Rheumatoid Factor " ANCA " EBV " Measles, Mumps, Rubella, VZV " Thyroid (TPO/Tg) Salient characteristics of the Test System: " A multiplexed, fluorescent, bead-based test system capable of simultaneously performing Rhemuatoid Factor and ANA screening with reflex testing for 9 specific auto-antibodies, SSA, SSB, Sm, RNP, Scl-70, Jo-1, dsDNA, Centromere and Histones, in a single well utilizing techniques using a flow cytometry format, per reagent manufacturer's instruction for use and specifications. " The test system includes internal calibration for every test and every patient sample " System generates at least 50 discreet readings per result. " Software with real-time data analysis. " Compatible with existing sample handlers/processors. " Diagnostic lot management protocols to allow automatic cross- and within-lot transitioning. " Has software to handle the programming of the management system, which consists of protocols, profiles and worklists " Has the ability to link with LIS systems via ASTM Functionality and Performance Specifications: " Simple assay protocol " Flexible reporting " Automatically stores all assays on the system " Stores kit and reagent lot information " Main report window provides choice for reporting complete profile, qualitative, or user-defined analyte reports. " Runs multiple assays simultaneously " Programmable reflex sample capability " Allows for directly verifying sample additions. " Calculates both quantitative and qualitative results " Customizes result data and printouts " Uni-directional interface capability " Flow cytometry platform. Some areas of operating cost-reduction include: " No need for additional reflex testing for ANA testing, a complete profile is performed. " Significant reduction in overall cost - up to 95% reduction in labor. " Simultaneously performs ANA screening and reflex testing for 9 specific autoantibodies, in a single well. " Simultaneous reflex testing means more rapid turnaround time for results. (same day turnaround time for expeditious diagnosis and treatment). " Ready-to-use liquid reagents with 12-18 months shelf life. " Quantitative or qualitative results. " Improved Inventory, sample and database management. Small footprint The Reader measures approximately 17" W x 20" D X 9" H. The Plate Handler measures 17.25" W X 24" D X 3" H. This fits easily on the countertop. The Test System is the only such system available today capable of performing all the following cleared assays in a multiplexed format: " ANA screen + ENA reflex (SSA, SSB, Sm, RNP, Jo-1, centromere B, dsDNA, histone, Scl-70) " Rheumatoid Factor " ANCA screen + reflex (MPO, PR-3) " EBV G profile (VCA, EBNA, EA) " EBV VCA IgM " Measles, Mumps, Rubella, VZV IgG in one well " Thyroid (TPO/Tg) Must provide maintenance, training and tech support. The consumables are purchased separately. We are particularly interested in responses from Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and Veteran Owned Small Businesses.
