- Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Boston Healthcare System, VA Medical Center, 1400 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury, MA--Intent to sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with Philips Medical Systems, 3000 Minuteman Road, Andover, MA for a service agreement for Carevue Chart Version B.0 computerized system for forty-eight I03 CVC ICU bed licenses for the period 10/1/07 thru 9/30/08. Service to provide "First Response Coverage", 24 hours a day 7 days a week, and to include software upgrades and hardware updates and qualified technician telephone remote diagnostic and interface support or service calls within 2 hours of notification. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any qualified vendor that determines it can meet the government's requirements may give written notification through e:mail to the Contract Specialist, leanne.daniels@va.gov, by August 23, 2007, 2:00 PM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements at no cost or obligation to the government. All responses received will be evaluated by the government, however the information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. If no responses are received, the VA Boston Healthcare System will precede to sole source this requirement to Philips Medical Systems.
