- Description
- This Modification #0001 is hereby issued to change the procurement regulations from FAR Part 13 to FAR Part 12. It also changes the terms and conditions to 52.212-4 and 52.212-5. The announcement number listed below shall read 07-170-CYC. **All other information remains unchanged.** The National Library of Medicine (NLM) intends to procure hardware, software, and maintenance services from Assuretec on a sole source basis. The items being procured are as follows: (1) M-ID-400-STD-1; I-Dentify ID-400 Standard Maintenance; Hardware and software maintenance as well as subscription to the Document Authentication Library with quarterly updates. (2) ID-400-STD-1: ID-400-STD-1; Includes required hardware, software, one year of subscription to the Document Authentication Library, and one year warranty on hardware. Reads passport and card-sized documents in visible, ultraviolet, near-infrared, and coaxial lighting. Includes: 400 dpi camera and USB2 interface. Can read 1D and 2D bar codes. Assuretec is uniquely qualified to provide the hardware, software, and maintenance services. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisitions. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available. However, all responsive sources may submit a capabilities statement in a timely manner that will be considered by the Government. Responses must be in writing and must be received in the office within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this notice. The quoter shall include all information which documents and/or supports the qualification criteria in one clearly marked section of its quotation. The contractor shall comply with all applicable Federal, State, and local laws, executive orders, rules and regulations applicable to its performance under this order.
