- Description
- The Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Eastern Region Acquisition Division intends to issue a solicitation for an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity, labor hour commercial item requirement for Senior Environmental Policy Analyst support in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Request for Quotations (RFQ) will be issued on or about August 21, 2007 via the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) web site at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The RFQ number will be EA133F-07-RQ-0769; hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon contractors to monitor the FedBizOpps site for RFQ release and all subsequent amendments. This RFQ will be issued as a 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 541620, and the small business size standard is $6.5 million. This acquisition will include a 5-year ordering period. The scope of work includes supporting the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) by providing policy advice on novel legal situations, implementing one-off requirements of the Magnuson Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act, writing special reports to Congress, and drafting National Environmental Policy Act documents for special actions. All interested small businesses may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the Government. Any contract award resulting from this RFQ will be made to the responsible vendor whose conformance to the RFQ will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
