- Description
- This is an unrestricted acquisition for Heaters to be used for the heater module in the new Unitized Group Ration Express (UGR-E). There are four heaters packaged in a barrier pouch. This product is for delivery to DD Tracy, CA. The minimum quantity is 540,000 pouches and the maximum quantity is 1,008,000 pouches. The proposed acquisition is unrestricted with a one base year period, no option years. Due to the particular urgency of this acquisition, the government intends to consider as eligible for award, only to those offeror(s) that have, in the past, either: 1) Successfully performed with respect to this/these item(s) on similar previous acquisitions or 2) Submitted (an) acceptable Product Demonstration Model(s) (PDM/PDMs) or 3) Successfully passed First Article Tests (FAT) with respect to this/these item(s). Any other offeror(s) proposal(s) will be evaluated for future acquisitions.
