- The Fleet Readiness Center East, Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC has a requirement for height adjustable tables. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number M00146-07-T-N281 is hereby issued as a Request for Quotation. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-17 and Defense Acquisition Circular 98-90. This acquisition is set-aside 100 percent for small business and is under the North American Industry Classification System code 337214, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is for a firm fixed priced contract for the following: Item 0001, 21 each of a 4 foot X 8 foot electronic adjustable tables. Height adjustable tilt top table with 2 heavy duty lift columns and a two channel control switch with the following essential characteristics: The lift columns must adjust from 28 inches to 48 inches in height. Lift columns must be height adjustable at 2 inches per second. Electronically tilts the table up to 85 degrees F.O.D. Free (foreign object debris) design 2 inch butcher block top Steel base pedestal 1 1/2 inch tubular frame construction Dual lift column design that can lift up to 1,000 lbs of total weight The control box must be mounted on the pedestal base next to the side of one of the two columns. Item 0002, 5 each of a 3 foot X 8 foot electronic adjustable tables. Height adjustable tilt top table with 2 heavy duty lift columns and a two channel control switch with the following essential characteristics: The lift columns must adjust from 28 inches to 48 inches in height. Lift columns must be height adjustable at 2 inches per second. Electronically tilts the table up to 85 degrees F.O.D. Free (foreign object debris) design 2 inch butcher block top Steel base pedestal 1 1/2 inch tubular frame construction Dual lift column design that can lift up to 1,000 lbs of total weight The control box must be mounted on the pedestal base next to the side of one of the two columns. The delivery requirements are FOB destination and are to be delivered to Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC 28533. Tables MUST be delivered to Cherry Point no later than close of business on September 26, 2007. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offers - Commercial Items (SEPT 2006). Award shall be made to the lowest priced responsible offeror(s), whose offer conforms to the solicitation, and who demonstrates acceptable past performance.
