Description

The proposed contract action is for one (1) Magna Pure LC Nucleic Acid Purification Instrument with software version 3.11, and installation and training, which the Europe Regional Contracting Office intends solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1(b)(1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, however, all proposals received withi n seven (7) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Gover nment. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Supplies will be delivered to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl Germany. The place of performance will be Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Landstuhl Germany. Required delivery is 20 September 2007. This acquisition will be solicited in accordance with (IAW) Far Part 12-Acquisition of Commercial Items. All prospective contractors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) in order to be eligible for award. Registration with the CCR may be accomplish using their web page www.ccr.gov or by calling (888) 227-2423. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE RE QUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. All responsible sources may submit a proposal or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
