- This Sources Sought Synopsis is a Brand Name Justification. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) intends to purchase a commercially available brand name Parker Hannifin H2PD-300 Hydrogen Generator Complete System including Electrolytic Cell, Palladium Membrane Cell, Supply of Electrolyte, Output Gas Controls, Liquid Chrystal Gas Pressure System Status Display, Stainless Steel Components, Carrier and Fuel Output Ports, Large Water Reservoir, Status Controls, Automatic Water Feed System and (1) year Standard System Warranty. Included in this acquisition are Installation, Software, Service and Support. The EPA believes that the Hannifin H2PD-300 Hydrogen Generator is the only equipment capable of meeting the needs of the EPA producing a Hydrogen Purity level of 99.99999+%. Any parties disagreeing with the determination should notify the listed point of contact. This proposed action is for supplies which the EPA intends to solicit for and negotiate competitively. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. However, all proposals received by the closing date will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
