Description

This is a NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE purchase order using the acquisition procedures for commercial items (FAR Part 12). This contract action is for the renewal subscription to ERI Consultant Assessor Series platform library database with Economic Research Institute, Inc, (ERI). The Government intends to award a sole source purchase order to ERI, 8575 164th Ave NE, Redmond, WA. 98052. This requirement is considered sole source since ERI is the only source that captures compensation information from exempt organizations, publishes the most current and complete summary of competitive salary and cost-of-living information in secure and portable software database that is updated every quarter, and has a search tool to manipulate the data for IRS compliance needs. IRS intends to award the purchase order by other than full and open competition in accordance with Subpart 6.302-1 (a)(2). This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses received within 5 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be evaluated by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability and respond to the requirement not later than 2:00 PM, August 24, 2007. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
