- Description
- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District, intends to issue a solicitation for Underwater Cleaning and Inspection of Stilling Basis and Intake Trashracks located at the Harry S. Truman Project, Warsaw, Missouri. The general scope of wor k includes, but is not limited to, all operations required to furnish all labor, equipment and services required to remove debris from the stilling basin, cut and remove exposed reinforcing steel from the stilling basin, inspect slab drains for exposure an d take pressure transducer readings after the debris and exposed steel reinforcement has been removed, and inspect the rock channel downstream of the stilling basin end sill, Option work (if exercised) will require complete inspection of intake trashracks and cleaning of intake trashracks. This solicitation will be issues as a Request for Quote (RFQ) which will result in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) service contract. The estimated performance period for completion of services is approximatel y 60 (Sixty) calendar days from Notice to Proceed (NTP). The solicitation will be available on or about August 17, 2007 and Proposals will be due approximately 21 days later. The solicitation, including any amendments, shall establish the official openi ng and closing dates and times. NAICS code The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 541990 SBA size standard is $6.5. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. New procedures being implemented for U.S. Army Corps of Engineer solicitations will require that all potential offerors to include Prime Contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, plan rooms and printing companies register in CCR and FedTeDS in order to view or download solicitations.
