- The Army Corps of Engineers, St. Louis District is considering awarding a sole source contract to Bosch Rexroth Corporation. This is a Publicized Special Notice as required by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 5.201. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this action is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Reference FAR Subpart 6-302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. This contract will be a Firm-Fixed Con tract. These miter gate cylinder assemblies must be interchangeable with existing cylinder assemblies from other St. Louis District Locks that were manufactured from this one source. The features of these cylinders have Proprietary Features that only thi s companys cylinders possess. If you feel your company has the capability to fill this requirement please notify this office by 29 August 2007, 2:00 PM., local time. This is not a solicitation announcement and this notice does not constitute any commitm ent by the Government. This notice is provided as information to the marketplace and is an opportunity for an expression of interest and demonstration of capability to supply this equipment.
