- The Maine Air National Guard intends to award, on a sole source basis in accordance with 10 USC 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a contract to Bauer, Inc, 175 Century Drive, Bristol, CT 06010, for a Universal Wheel Build Up Stand. This stand is to be ut ilized for wheel build up for the KC-135 Refueling Aircraft. Market Research and the Sources Sought Notice (W912JDSSN0001) issued in Federal Business Opportunities have revealed no other manufactures of comparable equipment. This is not a Request for Com petitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If you feel your firm possesses the ability to provide these supplies, then you must respond by demonstrating your firms technical capability to meet the requirements. If no affirmative written response is received, the supplies will be awarded without furt her notice.
