- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, F9GGGA7214A003, is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal A cquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16. This procurement is Unrestricted. The NAICS code is 812332 and the small business size standard is $13.0. The following commercial items are requested in this solicitation; 0001 - Escape CBRN Adult Escape Hood. 340 EA CH. NIOSH approved escape masks. The below parts and associated parts meet all USAF protective mask requirements for military, civilians, and contractors assigned to NEADS. SIN: 465-22. Item #: 6000-10435. The CBRN SCAPE30 Escape Mask is the only Au tomatic Actuation, one size, 30 minute certification, NIOSH approved, and Air Force Emergency Community of Practice (CoP) recommended Escape Masks suited for military and civilian personnel. Manufacturer: ILC Dover. OR EQUAL. Items should be shipped 30 Days ADC, FOB: Destination for delivery to NEADS BLDG 102, 387 Hanger Road, Rome NY, 13441. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commerci al Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable.
